Years & Years share ‘Meteorite’, taken from the new Bridget Jones film
“If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget”
Years & Years have shared their first new track in over a year. ‘Meteorite’ is taken from the soundtrack of the new Bridget Jones film.
Talking about the song in a press release, Olly Alexander said: “We wanted to make something unashamedly disco and upbeat.
“If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget - a wanton sex goddess with a very bad man between her thighs.”
Years & Years debuted the song at last weekend’s Bestival, and are set to begin work on their second album, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Communion’.
