Neu Pick
Slowcoaches cause a stir on ‘Drag’
The track, taken from the band’s upcoming debut LP, is today’s Neu Pick.
Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Slowcoaches.
Slowcoaches have been (ahem) racing to the front of the UK DIY punk scene over the past few years, and the release of their debut album ‘Nothing Gives’ looks set to take them even further.
New single ‘Drag’ is an unrelenting two-minute thrash, with all the fun of Swearin’ packed in, while also harking back to straight up ’80s punk - it’s a track that sees Slowcoaches just get more exciting.
The band have also announced a UK tour for later in the year. View the dates below. ‘Nothing Gives’ is out on 2nd December via Leisure & District.
