Madrid band DEERS announce debut single, London gig
Ana Garcia Perrote and Carlotta Cosials have signed a deal with Lucky Number.
Madrid group DEERS appeared on a Neu Bulletin earlier this year with a ramshackle debut demo offering, and now those tracks are gaining a single release proper on Lucky Number Music (Friends, Darwin Deez).
Consisting of Ana Garcia Perrote and Carlotta Cosials - plus Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen - their first ‘Demo’ release consists of ‘Bamboo’ and ‘Trippy Gum’.
The former builds on ’50s style pop, with a scuzzy, freakish centre, while the second half is a chirpier, equally head-turning introduction.
Alongside the 500 edition single release, DEERS play their debut London show at Sebright Arms on 9th June.
‘Demo’ is out 28th July via Lucky Number (UK) and Mom + Pop (US).
