Tobias Jesso Jr announces new flexidisc singles series
Five new songs are being released by True Panther this summer.
Vancouver musician Tobias Jesso Jr. remains a relatively mysterious entity, seemingly hitched up a studio with Girls’ Chet ‘JR’ White out in LA. Just a couple of demo tracks have emerged, but he’s announced plans for his first ever physical release in the form of a flexidisc.
True Panther is selling five separate flexidiscs, each containing a piano-led song recorded back in Vancouver. They contain five previously unheard tracks - each one’s due to be shipped out by the label every 3-4 weeks.
The series is very limited - to 300 copies, priced at $5 plus shipping.
Last month Tobias Jesso Jr. shared his second track - the spellbinding, Lennon-esque ‘True Love’. Listen below.
Also, you can now play along to ‘True Love’ via one of Tobias’ lessons.
