London calling
Foo Fighters’ Thursday date set for London’s House of Vans?
Looks like the next stop in the Foo’s secret UK tour will be a free show at the pop up London venue.
Foo Fighters’ secret show week has been a roller coaster so far. Today, the latest development confirmed Brighton as tommorrow’s first stop, with the band playing Concorde 2.
It seems Thursday’s stop will be London, with a date at House of Vans. A ticket link has been doing the rounds on Twitter, listing The Holy Shits playing the pop up venue for free. That’s the same band name Foo Fighters are playing Brighton under, so that’s a pretty good sign.
It appears the link originally went out to people who had pre-ordered the album ‘Sonic Highways’.
A message, posted online by fans who received it, reads:
“Hope you don’t mind, I got your email address because you pre-ordered Sonic Highways direct from the band. As a THANKS for that, we wanted to offer you first dibs on tickets for an upcoming secret show in London.”
“This is a FREE show.”
“We opened up a select number of tickets just for you guys to claim before they are made available to the public. If the tickets on this link run out by the time you click - don’t worry — there will be more available to the public later this week.”
All the tickets available via the link have now gone, so you’re going to have to join the Foos lottery with everyone else when it’s officially announced. Good luck!
