Watch Foo Fighters join Heart to perform ‘Kick It Out’ on Letterman
The Foos residency on Letterman continues.
Last night, Foo Fighters took to the second of five successive performances on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Following a cover of Black Sabbath the previous night, they took on Heart’s ‘Kick It Out’, where they were joined onstage by Ann and Nancy Wilson themselves.
This week sees the Foos taking over Letterman, paying tributes to American greats while discussing their new album ‘Sonic Highways’.
’Sonic Highways’ arrives in the form of an LP and a new documentary, which sees the band landing in different US cities to record, while Grohl interviews musical legends from different sides of the country.
Each episode is devoted to a different musical landmark in the U.S. - Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C. It’s set to air on BBC Four from Sunday 26th October.
This week they’ll play Chicago’s The Cubby Bear on Friday 17th October, with tickets on sale today. It’s an HBO Presents gig, with the ‘Sonic Highways’ documentary gaining its first play.
‘Sonic Highways’ is out 10th November. Watch the ‘Kick It Out’ cover below.
