Everybody Dance
Chic post teaser video for their upcoming new single ‘I’ll Be There’
The Nile Rodgers-fronted disco superstars are gearing up to return with their first album in over twenty years.
As they gear up for the first album in twenty-three years, disco legends Chic have teased their new single ‘I’ll Be There’ on YouTube.
All fidgety guitar work and clap-along snare, it’s that quintessential Chic sound that saw the group rise to the top of the pile in their heyday, penning hits as massive as ‘Le Freak’, ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Good Times’ along the way.
Undoubtedly the hottest property in the festival circuit once more (due in no small part to frontman Nile Rodgers’ insatiable appetite for chart topping guest performances – ‘Get Lucky’, anyone?), the group will be celebrating the release of ‘I’ll Be There’ throughout March, hitting up a number of decidedly less outdoorsy venues for their first ever tour this side of the pond – full dates for that are below, along with the teaser video.
MARCH
20 Roundhouse, London
21 Roundhouse, London
22 O2 Academy, Leeds
23 O2 Academy, Glasgow
24 O2 Apollo, Manchester
25 O2 Academy, Birmingham
