Wavves and Cloud Nothings’ collaborative album is actually happening
‘No Life For Me’ is coming out this year.

Early last year, word spread about a potential collaborative album between Wavves’ Nathan Williams and Cloud Nothings’ Dylan Baldi.
Now the two bands have finally confirmed plans to release a record together. ‘No Life For Me’ is coming out later this year via Ghost Ramp Records. Wavves confirmed the LP via his Instagram account, sharing the artwork (see below).
Nathan Williams wrote ‘Such a Drag’ on his own - the rest of the record is co-written between him and Baldi. Guest spots include Wavves bandmates Stephen Pope and Brian Hill, and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij (he plays guitar on ‘I Find’).
Back in 2014, Baldi told French magazine Dum Dum that he’d “talked for a while” with Williams about the idea of making a record. “I should go to California to record some stuff,” he said at the time.
Both Cloud Nothings and Wavves are currently at SXSW.
