SILICON shares debut track, ‘God Emoji’, ahead of debut album in 2015
Kody Nielson will release the single on Domino imprint Weird World

SILICON is the project of Kody Nielson - brother of Ruban Nielson aka Unknown Mortal Orchestra - who in 2012 released his debut album ‘Electric Hawaii’ under the moniker Opossom.
Today (9th April) sees the announcement of Nielson’s new project, with single ‘God Emoji’ previewing a debut album expected in 2015 via Domino Records imprint Weird World. ‘God Emoji’ swims in between a funky groove, with Nielson’s vocals echoing his reluctance to dance on Saturday nights, despite the track’s smooth intentions.
SILICON will perform two dates in London and Amsterdam with Unknown Mortal Orchestra on the following dates:
MAY
21 London, Islington Assembly Hall
25 Amsterdam (NL), Bitterzoet
