Silicon shares new track ‘Cellphone’
Kody Nielson previews a new cut from his forthcoming debut album ‘Personal Computer’.

Silicon has shared a new single titled ‘Cellphone’.
Kody Nielson’s new cut is featured on his debut album ‘Personal Computer’, and follows the recently shared ‘Burning Sugar’ and lead single ‘God Emoji’. ‘Personal Computer’ is out 28th August through Domino Records imprint Weird World.
The fidgety new track finds Nielson’s voice nestled in a vocoder as synths build with an eerie resonance. Communication lines break down all through the verses as sampled answering machine messages and conversations play out a phone-line drama against the toylike melody.
Listen to ‘Cellphone’ below. Pre-order ‘Personal Computer’ on iTunes.
