B-side to Father John Misty’s Record Store Day release surfaces online
New track ‘I’ve Never Been A Woman’ backs heart-shaped ‘I Love You, Honeybee’ vinyl.
Father John Misty released his single, ‘I Love You, Honeybee’ this weekend, pressed on to a heart-shaped vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day 2015. The new acoustic version of his recent album title-track is backed by another new track titled ‘I’ve Never Been A Woman’, audio of which has now surfaced online.
’I’ve Never Been A Woman’ is another acoustic cut, shaped around the tongue-in-cheek lyrics the title suggest, and set to a country-esque ballad. The acoustic version of the A-side was shared online a day before Record Store Day, which took place on the past weekend, Saturday 18th April.
Listen to ‘I’ve Never Been A Woman’ below. Father John Misty’s recent album ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ is out now on Sub Pop Records.
