Animal Collective have completed the recording of their new album.
The as yet untitled release serves as the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Centipede Hz’, with the news confirmed on the Instagram account of EastWest Studios, Los Angeles, where Animal Collective have recorded the album.
“Today Animal Collective finished their new album in Studio 3. ☺️ we are so proud of them and this Album, can’t wait to hear it!!! Cheers!”, the studio says alongside the image below.
Since confirming the news, Adam McDaniel at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville (NC), states that Animal Collective wrote and rehearsed the album there six weeks ago. McDaniel has also uploaded images of the group at work which you can view below.
Update: EastWest Studios have removed the picture from their Instagram account.
