The Stone Roses announce return with three huge UK shows
Manchester and T In The Park will welcome the band next summer.
Earlier today, rumours of a return for The Stone Roses were fuelled by posters of their famous lemon logo being posted all over Manchester. Those rumours have now been confirmed, with three huge UK shows announced for next summer.
The band will play two hometown shows at the Etihad Stadium on 17th and 18th June, before headlining T In The Park on 8th July.
There is no word yet on whether the new dates will coincide with a third album, or further shows.
The band first reunited in 2012 for a series of shows including huge dates at London’s Finsbury Park and Manchester’s Heaton Park. The band are also now favourites to headline next year’s Glastonbury festival, which falls just a week after the newly announced Manchester gigs.
The Stone Roses will play:
JUNE
17 Manchester, Etihad Stadium
18 Manchester, Etihad Stadium
JULY
08 Strathallan Castle, T In The Park
