Glass Animals hit the road for ‘Life Itself’ video
Unlikely detective duos and smoke-bombed motels - it’s a brilliantly confusing viddy to say the least.

Glass Animals get their detective on in the video for ‘Life Itself’ - the first single to come from ‘How To Be A Human Being’. The oddball pop bunch’s second album is out on 26th August.
Following an unlikely mystery-solving duo in a very shiny Cadillac, the video follows a vague narrative centred around a small child with a penchant for running away. Everyone’s karting after him throughout the whole ‘Life Itself’ video, dropping smoke bombs in motels, munching angrily on celery, and taking shady phone calls in road side diners. It’s all very confusing.
The Oxford group recently announced “two very special shows” in June. Those are below (with pre-sale tickets available via their newsletter) along with the very-exciting-indeed new trailer.
Catch up with the DIY feature with Glass Animals, and then read our track review of ‘Life Itself’ here. You can watch their ace new viddy below.
They’ve also shared ‘How To Be A Human Being’s artwork - check that out below, too.
Glass Animals will play Best Kept Secret (17th- 19th June), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
