Iggy Pop has rescheduled a number of French gigs owing to coronavirus
“I was damn excited about these gigs”
Iggy Pop has announced that he’s postponing a number of upcoming French gigs due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“I was damn excited about these gigs. So we just have to wait,” the legendary singer wrote on Twitter, announcing the rescheduling of the gigs.
The majority of the new tour has already been rescheduled, with new dates announced, though two gigs, in Montpellier and Besancon, have been cancelled after new dates weren’t able to be found.
The new gigs are set for September, and will begin in Monaco on the 10th of the month.
Iggy Pop becomes the latest artist to cancel gigs because of the coronavirus outbreak. Yesterday, Bombay Bicycle Club pulled their imminent European tour, and My Chemical Romance have now announced that they’re postponing their upcoming Japanese tour.
