Arcade Fire Hint At Glastonbury 2014 Appearance

During an appearance on Jo Whiley’s Radio 2 show, Win Butler gave the biggest hint yet that Arcade Fire would be playing next year’s Glastonbruy.

Despite claims that the band’s touring schedule might be taking downtime in June and July, there remains a Glastonbury-shaped hole in their dates.

While talking through some of their biggest inspirations and favourite songs - with Radiohead and Dexy’s Midnight Runners getting nods, for starters - Butler’s statement of ‘get your wellies ready’ is enough to get the rumour mill started up again.



Previously, festival organiser Michael Eavis stated that Glastonbury 2014 was set to be headlined by three bands who’ve never topped the bill before.
