Conor Oberst Confirms New Album, ‘Upside Down Mountain’
Listen to the tropical (?) new track, ‘Hundreds of Ways’.

Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst first spoke about a new full-length album late last month. He’s now unveiled the first track, ‘Hundreds of Ways’, to be taken from a record titled ‘Upside Down Mountain’.
The track itself is gaining a separate release as part of this year’s Record Store Day (19th April), linked up with a yet to be unveiled song ‘Fast Friends’.
‘Hundreds of Ways’ is a vaguely upbeat (by Conor’s standards) number, boldly proclaiming there to be ‘hundreds of ways to get through the day’ on top of riffs that could actually be rendered tropical.
The new album’s set to feature contributions from Father John Misty and First Aid Kit. It’s out on 20th May in the US via Nonesuch Records.
