Watch: Arcade Fire Unveil New ‘Afterlife’ Trailer

have gone trailer-centric in the build-up to their ‘Reflektor’ album (out 28th October via Merge).

The band’s fourth album comes previewed with the previously unveiled ‘Awful Sound’ trailer, and now this: A minute long Haiti-based short video based around the album’s penultimate track.

The trailer itself sounds nothing like the actual song, building on ambient parts before Win goes Bon Iver-trapped-in-a-cabin-with-a-vocoder by singing some of the song’s lines in unconventional form.

Arcade Fire have also confirmed a few more details about forthcoming October shows. The dates and venues are as follows:
