Watch Mac DeMarco Perform New Song ‘Treat Her Better’
Take from ‘Salad Days’ was performed at the Sundance Film Festival.
‘Treat Her Better’ was one of three tracks Mac DeMarco unveiled during an acoustic session on CKUA’s TransCanada Alberta Backstage. New footage has emerged of him playing the song during this year’s Sundance Film Festival, as part of a showcase put on by the 1MSQFT initiative.
La Blogotheque filmed the performance, which gives testament to DeMarco’s talent for penning pop ditties - the crowd are singing along by the end, and it’s the first time any of them have heard the track.
‘Salad Days’ is released through Captured Tracks on 1st April.
