Disclosure, Laura Mvula and King Krule are also amongst the acts set to appear at the Maida Vale Studios event.

running down the top five of this year’s Sound of 2013 list, they’ve also been playing host to a new music takeover with the station’s specialist DJs appearing in daytime slots and bringing their box of shiny new records with them.

Now they’re taking it a step further, with a special BBC Radio 1 Future Festival event taking place later this month. An evening of live music hosted at the legendary Maida Vale Studios, it will feature live performances from some of the station’s ones to watch for the next twelve months.

That means sets from names such as DIY cover stars Palma Violets, A$AP Rocky, Disclosure, Laura Mvula, King Krule, The 1975 and Mallory Knox.

Future Festival is scheduled for Thursday 17th January, with 50 pairs of tickets available to applicants over the age of 16 years old. Under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult. If you can get to Miada Value for a 7pm-10pm show, you can register here until Thursday 10th January. Winners will be picked at random.
