Adele’s selling loads more albums again, in case she was feeling a bit skint

Post-Glasto rush sees anyone who didn’t own ’25’ or ’21’ grabbing a copy.

Adele's selling loads more albums again, in case she was feeling a bit skint

Adele is on course for another week at the top, following her headline performance at this year’s Glastonbury.

Post-a triumphant Saturday night set, her latest album ’25’ has soared to the top of the charts, rising twelve places in the Official Charts Update.

With last year’s LP leapfrogging the likes of Radiohead and Rick Astley, second album ’21’ has also snuck into the top ten. You know, in case there’s someone out there who doesn’t already have a copy, or maybe lost their last CD down the back of the sofa.

Glasto boosts have also been handed to Muse (whose ‘Drones’ album goes from #179 to #15), this year’s “legend slot” (ELO’s ‘All Over the World’ at #3) and Christine & The Queens, whose ‘Chaleur Humaine’ debut is up to #4.
