All Points East Festival announce Barry Can't Swim as latest 2025 headliner

East London’s All Points East festival has unveiled its next 2025 headliner - the Mercury Prize-shortlisted DJ and producer Barry Can’t Swim, who’ll be taking to the stage in Victoria Park on Friday 22nd August next year.

The stage name of Joshua Mainnie, Barry Can’t Swim has become one of recent years’ biggest electronic stars, having broken through in 2021 with his ‘Amor Fati’ EP and dropped his acclaimed debut album ‘When Will We Land?’ last year.

Sharing the news via Instagram, Barry has commented: “Been dying to share this one.. Next year I’m gonna be headlining All Points East for my only London show in 2025. Can’t wait x”

You can get yourself in the mood for dancing by listening to his latest track, ‘Still Riding’, below.

What’s more, APE has confirmed that Aussie party-starters Confidence Man and club queen Shygirl will be joining the fun as special guests, with support also coming from Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Heartstring and many more.

The festival previously revealed that The Maccabees will also be headlining one day of All Points East 2025 for their first show together in eight years (!), while more headliners are still yet to be announced.

Tickets for Barry’s headline turn at All Points East will go on sale tomorrow, 12th November, here
