Alvvays announce 2018 UK tour

The band will tour ‘Antisocialites’ in the Spring.

Alvvays are currently touring their five star-rated new album ‘Antisocialites’across the UK and Europe, and they’ve already made plans to come back!

The band headlined London’s KOKO earlier this month to toast the release of their new album, a show that saw ‘Antisocialites’ tracks already being greeted as classics. The four-piece will return to the capital to close the new 2018 run with a massive show at the Roundhouse in Camden. Read the DIY review of the KOKO show here.

The run of gigs will start in Bristol at Trinity on 16th February, before taking in shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Leicester.

We chatted to Alvvays about all things ‘Antisocialites’ in the new issue of DIY, out now.

“I feel like with our first record we must’ve done something mildly right…?” vocalist Molly Rankin wonders aloud, making something of an understatement in the process. “It seems like it resonated with some spectrum of humans, so why leave all that behind to try something completely new and shiny?”
