Animal Collective announce ‘Painting With’ album, stream ‘FloriDada’
New album is due out next February.
After debuting their latest full-length at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Animal Collective are taking flight with new LP ‘Painting With’.
Due out next February, the follow-up to ‘Centipede Hz’ is due out via Domino. As with ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’, Deakin doesn’t feature in the group this time round. John Cale and Colin Stetson appear as special guests.
Lead track ‘FloriDada’ is streaming below. The album was recorded at Hollywood’s EastWest studios, and it’s inspired by 20th century art, particularly cubism.
