Animal Collective To Premiere New Album On Own Radio Station

Animal Collective are set to premiere their forthcoming new album on their own Animal Collective Radio next week.

‘Centipede Hz’, the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’, is set for release through Domino on 3 September - and will get its first play in the early hours of Monday 20 August, at 2am GMT.

The news was announced last night on the Avey Tare-fronted third installment of Animal Collective Radio - a joint venture between the band, Domino Records, and The Creators Project. During the show, Tare also unveiled three new solo songs of his own.

In the mean time between now and Monday, you can hear the first track unveiled from ‘Centipede Hz’, ‘Today’s Supernatural’, below.
