Animal Collective to release 3xLP live album ‘Live at 9:30’
Washington DC show took place back in 2013.
Animal Collective have announced plans to release a live album, ‘Live at 9:30’.
Released on 3xLP vinyl via Domino, it’s available to order now. The band’s first album documenting a single live show, it brings together audio from one of three nights at Washington DC venue 9:30, from back in 2013.
Speaking about the show, Geologist says: “Growing up in Baltimore, we’ve been seeing shows at 9:30 for over 20 years, back to when the building was called WUST. First time was Pavement in 1994. Always one of our favorite places to see shows, and always one of the most fun places to play a show. Unless the power goes out.”
