Antony and the Johnsons confirms new ‘HOPELESSNESS’ LP
“Electronic record” is produced by Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke.
Antony and the Johnsons has announced plans to release an “electronic record” titled ‘HOPELESSNESS’.
Billed under the name “ANOHNI”, it’s being produced by Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke.
Currently in its mixing stages, Antony Hegarty calls it “an electronic record with some sharp teeth”.
He confirmed the record on his Facebook page - no release details have been announced.
The last Antony and the Johnsons studio album was ‘Swanlight’, which came out in 2010. Last year saw Antony releasing ‘Turning’, a soundtrack for the Charles Atlas film.
