Apple in talks to exclusively release Kanye West’s ‘SWISH’

Album isn’t expected to be part of the company’s iTunes Radio launch today.

Apple has reportedly been in talks with Kanye West to exclusively launch his new album, ‘SWISH’.

The follow-up to ‘Yeezus’ - originally titled ‘So Help Me God’ - is expected to come out this summer, although the seventh solo album isn’t set to be part of Apple’s big iTunes Radio launch later today (Monday 8th June).

Kanye is a co-owner of rival streaming service TIDAL, but that hasn’t prevented him from being in talks for an exclusive Apple deal, reports Buzzfeed. Any release is set to be similar to U2’s ‘Songs of Innocence’, where the album was uploaded to 500 million desktops and Apple devices without any prompt or warning.

Apple’s own iTunes Radio service will launch tonight in San Francisco.
