Architects announce new album 'The Sky, The Earth & All Between'

Brighton metal outfit Architects have returned with news of their brand new album, ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’.

The band have announced plans to release their eleventh studio album early next year, with it set to land on 28th February via Epitaph Records. It’ll follow on from their 2022 record ‘the classic symptoms of a broken spirit’, will be twelve tracks in length and will feature their previously-released tracks ‘Seeing Red’ and ‘Curse’.

Alongside the album news, they’ve also shared another new song in the form of ‘Whiplash’, which comes produced by former Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish. The track comes accompanied by a frenzied new video, as directed by Specter Berlin. “We’ve long admired director Specter for his work with Rammstein so it was a pleasure to bring him in for this song to create something for us,” the band’s Dan Searle has said of the new clip. “His visual concept gave life to the words in a unique way that may create more questions than answers, but sometimes that’s the beauty in art.

“‘Whiplash’ marks the beginning of a new era for Architects,” he continues. “It is a song that speaks of tribalism, of a deepening chasm that lies between human beings based simply on opinions and beliefs. It gave us the opportunity to explore these concepts in a way that we haven’t before and for the first time in a while it gave us fuel to write something truly ferocious.”
