Arctic Monkeys air new video for ‘Snap Out Of It’
Video shows an Arctics fan wrecking her luxury pad in an act of obsession.
Arctic Monkeys’ videos on the back of 2013 LP ‘AM’ have taken odd directions. ‘Arabella’ showed them playing in a smoke-filled brothel, rock ’n roll defined, ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High’ had a mashed Alex Turner tripping out in grim, pitch-black London streets - the following clip for ‘Snap Out of It’ shows a wealthy super fan who ditches her luxury pad for some all-out madness. She consumes steak in endless supply, cries while watching archive footage of the band’s rehearsals and eventually packs it all in and goes for a swim.
Utter madness, but it’s the least that you’d expect from an Arctic Monkeys video.
Arctic Monkeys headline Reading & Leeds Festivals, 22nd-24th August.
