Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders and Milburn’s Joe Carnall have a new project
The project, Good Cop Bad Cop, has just released its first song ‘Silk and Leather’.
Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders and Milburn’s Joe Carnall have announced a new project, Good Cop Bad Cop, and shared their first single ‘Silk & Leather’.
The song, which was written by Joe and produced by Matt, and was created after Joe sent a couple of early homemade demos to Matt in LA just because he thought “he would be into it”. After that, they started discussing Matt trying his hand at production and making the record at his home studio in the Hollywood Hills.
A more electronic offering than the music the pair are separately most famous for making, it’s the first of more music to be released from Good Cop Bad Cop later this year.
Arctic Monkeys, of course, released latest album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ last year - read our review of the record.
