Arctic Monkeys won’t be sharing any songs before the release of ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’
You’ll have to wait ‘til 11th May.
Arctic Monkeys are, as we’re sure you know, releasing their new album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ next month.
Sadly, though, it looks like we’re not going to get any previews of the new record until the release date.
A representative from the band has confirmed to Pitchfork that no new music will be shared ahead of the album’s release date on 11th May.
“Jamie (Cook, guitarist) was really keen on that idea, and I guess people at Domino,” Alex Turner said of the decision in a recent interview with Mojo. “But it didn’t come from me. I understand it, I think.”
Arctic Monkeys are set to tour the new album pretty much everywhere this year, with a UK arena tour the latest dates to be added.
