Aussie newcomer Alex Lahey shares ‘Ivy League’ video

Wit-fledged track is taken from her debut EP.

The best new Aussie musician this side of Courtney Barnett? That’s the early consensus around Alex Lahey, whose honesty-fledged songwriting landed her a big Splendour in the Grass slot in her home country.

Earlier this summer, she released debut EP ‘B-Grade University’, and opening track ‘Ivy League’ now has its own video. It stars Alex as a deep-thinking watercolour painter who’s really into her wooly jumpers. A few shades of red, black and white and she puts together a modern day masterpiece, just like that.
