News Baby in Vain hitch a ride ‘To Heaven And Back’
The Copenhagen trio release their debut album ‘More Nothing’ next month.
Some bands have tour buses. Others, slightly rusted vans. Baby in Vain? They prefer to skateboard to shows, hitching a ride with the help of drummer Benedicte Pierleoni’s moped.
That’s roughly what happens in their new video for ‘To Heaven and Back,’ anyway; and fair play, with the added clout of an engine, Lola Hammerich and Andrea Thuesen Johansen manage to cover a very impressive distance on 4 wheels.
Quite rightly, the band had this to say. “The two coolest things to do in the world are skateboarding and driving a motorcycle. What do you do when you don’t have a motorcycle? You steal a moped”.
There you go, then.
Baby in Vain release their debut album ‘More Nothing’ on 25th August via Partisan Records. Produced by Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Bat For Lashes), their record will then hit the road for a string of live shows. Find all of their upcoming dates below, and watch the new video for ‘To Heaven and Back’ while you’re at it.
