Baby In Vain get cinematic in their ‘Low Life’ video

With their debut album ‘More Nothing’ out in the world, Copenhagen’s Baby In Vain recently shared its latest single, ‘Low Life’.

Now the track’s been given a very cinematic new video from Danish director Rasmus K. Peterson. It looks at the trials and tribulations of young love, but through a very slightly Lynchian lens (there appears to be a ritual going on and a bunch of goldfish are being kept in the sink, plus it just has the feeling of a waking dream).

Of the video, drummer Benedicte Pierleoni said: “We wanted to do something that was completely different from visuals we’d done in the past. We contacted Rasmus after watching a beautiful video he directed for another Copenhagen band, Sjæl I Flammer. He liked our song and was up for doing the video, so we gave him 100% artistic freedom. We absolutely love what he came up with and we’re very happy with how it turned out!”

In October, Baby In Vain will going on an extensive tour of the UK in support of their debut, heading to all sorts of cities in the UK along the way (including Glasgow, Leeds, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, London and loads more). Tickets for all the UK dates are on sale now.
