Bastille offer up teaser video, confirm new album ‘Wild World’
The band have posted a mysterious trailer, in which the main protagonist appears to be falling.

After a day’s worth of teasing - with the question ‘Are you afraid of heights?’ appearing on their social media earlier today - Bastille are continuing to be mysterious: they’ve now posted a teaser video online, complete with a snippet of new material and the message ‘WWCOMMS. 001 // Hello’.
The clip, which is soundtracked by a new raw vocals-and-guitar number, focusses in on a main protagonist, as they fall gracefully through mid-air being watched by a crowd of people below. It’s an intense video, to say the least.
That’s not all: as the clip draws to a close, the words ‘Wild World’ appear on the screen, but what exactly that means is not entirely clear just yet. Could it be their long-awaited follow-up to their 2013 debut ‘Bad Blood’? Well, who knows…
UPDATE: We were right! The band have now confirmed that ‘Wild World’ is the title of their new album, which will be released later this year.
Check out the trailer below.
