Beach House announce ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’ album, out next week

Beach House have announced plans to release a brand new full-length album next week.

‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’ is an instant follow-up to ‘Depression Cherry’, which came out this August. It’s due out 16th October on Sub Pop / Bella Union.

Tweeting about the release, the duo say: “it’s an album being released the way we want. It’s not a companion to depression cherry or a surprise or b-sides.” And given that the album’s been announced with a week’s notice and zero build-up, it definitely is a surprise. That’s the actual dictionary definition of a surprise.
