Belle & Sebastian, Grace Jones, Young Fathers to play Festival No. 6 2015
Portmeirion-fest takes place this September.
Portmeirion’s Festival No. 6 has announced Belle & Sebastian and Grace Jones as 2015 headliners.
The former just released their ‘Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance’ album, this being their first confirmed date to follow on from a spring UK tour.
Alongside Grace Jones, the Scottish group will be joined by Mercury Prize nominee Kate Tempest and 2014 winners Young Fathers.
Elsewhere, DIY Class of 2015’s Rae Morris and Shura are both on the bill, with Stornoway, The Bohicas and Fryars completing the first wave of acts.
A DJ line-up boasts DJ Harvey and 2 Bears (live), with other names arriving in the shape of Bicep, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Gerd Jansen, Andrew Weatherall, Optimo, Ralph Lawson, Justin Robertson, Maurice Fulton and Mark E.
Weekend tickets (priced from £160 for adults) are available now. Festival No. 6 runs from 3rd-6th September 2015.
