Just like honey
Black Honey share new track ‘Mothership’
It’s the b-side to their last single ‘Corrine’.
Flamingo-wielding spaghetti-western channeling band Black Honey have shared new track ‘Mothership’. The ‘other track’ on the band’s ‘Corrine’ single - which they released back in September - has now got a proper release.
A plodding, whammy bar-drenched ballad, it’s no great leap of the imagination to picture Black Honey playing ‘Mothership’ in a seedy, neon-lit basement bar of True Detective (first season, obvs).
Black Honey are in DIY’s Class of 2016, and appear in the new Dec/Jan double issue, out now. Read our feature with the band here, and listen to ‘Mothership’ below.
