Blink-182 announce new album ‘California’, share ‘Bored To Death’
Mark Hoppus and co. will release their new full-length this July.
Following Travis Barker’s confirmation that a new Blink-182 album was complete last month, the band have made the news official: the trio - now featuring Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba - will release ‘California’ on 1st July via BMG.
Their newest full-length marks the first since Tom Delonge infamously exited the band last year, and sees Skiba join up with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. It follows on from the band’s 2011 album ‘Neighborhoods’ and marks their seventh studio album.
The three-piece have also unveiled a first taste of the record in the form of ‘Bored To Death’, a Hoppus-led huge offering which opens with a drumbeat not all too dissimilar to the band’s 2003 track ‘Feeling This’.
Listen to ‘Bored To Death’ and check out the band’s newly-announced US touring plans - which will feature A Day To Remember, All American Rejects and All Time Low - below.
