Not the apple of his eye
Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon speaks out against Apple
Vernon says the company is “no more” and is no longer “innovative”.
Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon has criticised Apple for no longer delivering the “innovation” that first made him fall in love with the company.
The musician was responding to a headline posted on FACT, which asked “Is Apple Music proof that the company has stopped evolving?” Posting to Twitter, he went on to blame iTunes as the reason “why I’ve listened to less music” in the last couple of years.
He then discussed Spotify, saying he’s been “loving” the service, but that he prefers the old school listening methods of CDs and tapes.
See the series of tweets below. Vernon also recently announced that his Bon Iver project would soon begin a “new life”.
