Brand New offer up new b-side ‘Out Of Range’

The band have unveiled the second track to be taken from their ‘Mene’ single release.

Let’s face it: being a Brand New fan has been pretty stressful lately. What with that t-shirt design (you know, the one which read ‘Brand New 2000 - 2018’…) and then the fact that frontman Jesse Lacey declared, “We’re done” on stage just a few weeks ago, no one really knows what’s happening in camp Brand New right now. But hey, at least there’s another new song to listen to!

The band have offered up ‘Out Of Range’, a low-key, lulling track that shows the band at their most mesmerising. It’s also a b-side: it accompanies their recent standalone single ‘Mene’, which just earned itself a physical release - you can nab the 7” from Banquet Records here.

The band have also recently released another record - a 10” titled, quite simply, ‘3 Demos, Reworked’, which features six tracks - three of the original demos from their ‘Leaked Demos 2006’ (‘Brothers’, ‘Missing You’ and ‘1996’) with three reworkings of those same tracks.
