Charli xcx, Sam Fender, JADE and more win at the BRIT Awards 2025 • News • DIY Magazine

Having well and truly dominated pop culture over the past twelve months, Charli xcx cleaned up at the BRIT Awards 2025, winning a huge five gongs - including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (for ‘BRAT’, obvs).

Although she didn’t perform on the night (according to host Jack Whitehall, because she wanted to get drunk - now that’s brat), other nominees including Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Fender, and JADE all took to the stage to deliver performances that made this year’s BRITs one to remember.

Away from Charli’s party girl sweep, Chappell Roan bagged two awards - for Best International Artist and Best International Song - and former DIY cover stars Fontaines DC were awarded Best International Group for the second year in a row. Sam Fender, RAYE, Stormzy, JADE, and Charli xcx (again) bagged wins in their respective genre categories (as voted for by fans), while Ezra Collective danced their way to winning Group of the Year and another DIY fave, The Last Dinner Party, won Best New Artist.
