Fun in the sun: British Sea Power share a new video for ‘Don’t Let The Sun Get In The Way’

Prepare to see a lot of suns with fuzzy eyebrows.
British Sea Power released their latest album ‘Let The Dancers Inherit The Party’ back in March, and it was the embodiment of everything that title stood for.
Now they’re back with a video for one of the album’s tracks, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Get In The Way’. The clip is a little bit of a spin on the title, as everyone in the world wears giant papier mache heads and fuzzy eyebrows to make them look like, well, the sun with fuzzy eyebrows. Except our protagonist. He’s human. With a papier mache head.
Anyway, he’s surrounded by these jolly folk who are in happy relationships, jobs and even dance randomly in the street, and he looks thoroughly depressed about the whole thing. No wonder he turns to (dramatic music) murder! Well, it’s accidental, but it’s sun-murder none the less. And despite running away, our protagonist looks pretty happy about it too.
