Two weeks on from releasing ‘…Awaken, My Love!’, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino has performed LP highlight ‘Redbone’ on the telly.
It’s quite the performance. Topless and donning sparkly, silver trousers that wouldn’t look out of place in Saturday Night Fever, Glover takes a star turn. Best of all is his unfaltering falsetto, backed by a gospel choir and a smooth-as-it-gets full band. It’s the kind of telly slot that looks like it’s taken months to prepare.
