Manchester’s Christian AIDS have changed their name, following a ‘trademark infringement notice’ from charity Christian Aid.
The band will now be known as Stay+. A press release about the name change explains:
‘Christian AIDS would like to announce a change. Powerful people with $$$$$$$ took us down. And all in the NAME of CHARITY.’
Stay+ appear in the First On section of the next issue of DIY. Which went to press yesterday. When they were still Christian AIDS. (Brilliant - Ed)
