Courtney Love, Broken Social Scene to play benefit concert for Allen Ginsberg’s ‘Howl’
Poem celebrates its 60th anniversary, with proceeds from the show going to the David Lynch Foundation.
Courtney Love, Devendra Banhart and Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew have all been confirmed to appear at a benefit concert, celebrating 60 years since Allen Ginsberg’s ‘Howl’ poem.
Producer Hal Willner has confirmed plans to host a concert on 7th April at Los Angeles’ Ace Hotel. Surprise special guests are yet to be confirmed, but Will Forte, Tim Robbins, Amy Poehler and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith will all be appearing.
Proceeds will go towards the David Lynch Foundtation.
