Creeper showcase new track ‘Lie Awake’, sign to Roadrunner Records
The band will be appearing at this year’s Download Festival, 2000Trees and Hevy Fest.
Ahead of their debut appearance at this weekend’s Download Festival, Creeper have unveiled a brand new track, ‘Lie Awake’.
Following on from the release of their debut self-titled EP back in 2014, the band have already begun work on its follow-up and are now offering up their first new material since. Accompanied by a rather ominous video, the Southampton five-piece are, yet again, proving themselves to be masters in the art of gothy punk, with the track being another slice of slick, driven punk rock.
Doubling as the first part of what the band have said is set to be “a two part story of life, love and obsession which will conclude later in the year”, you can check out the video below.

The quintet have also announced that they’ve now penned a deal with Roadrunner Records, and that the label will be releasing their second EP in the near future.
“Roadrunner Records has been a constant in our lives ever since we were young,” vocalist Will Gould has said in a press release. “They have been a hugely important part of my young life, from picking up the first Slipknot album to The Misfits’ record ‘Famous Monsters’. To be involved with a record company who have put out some the defining records of our youth is incredibly exciting for us. It’s difficult to convey just how thrilled we are to be joining the Roadrunner family and to be making records together.”
Creeper will be appearing at this year’s Download, 2000Trees and Hevy Festivals.
