Damon Albarn Brings Doctor Dee Opera To London

It’s a few months since Damon Albarn debuted his opera Dr Dee in Manchester, and now the Blur frontman is bringing the production to London.

Set for a week long run at the Coliseum next summer, Albarn appeared on BBC 6 Music yesterday, previewing 11 (yes, eleven - Ed) tracks from the soundtrack.

That mammoth playback, which took place on Steve Lamacq’s show, is available to listen to again on iPlayer.

Tickets for the London run go on sale tomorrow (November 4th) via Eno.org. The dates read:
