Damon Albarn says he’s been in the studio with Adele

Damon Albarn says he’s been in the studio with Adele working on her new, third album.

In an interview with The Sun, Albarn claimed that Adele reached out and invited him to collaborate. “Adele asked me to work with her and I took the time out for her,” said the Blur frontman. He added that nothing concrete has come from the sessions yet. “I’m not a producer, so I don’t know what is happening really,” Albarn said. “Will she use any of the stuff? I don’t think so. Let’s wait and see.”

He called the new music that he’s heard from Adele “”very middle of the road” (charming, mate!) He also said that Adele is lacking in confidence. “The thing is, she’s very insecure,” he claimed. “And she doesn’t need to be, she’s still so young.”
